Information we collect

We collect account details such as your name and email address, billing and subscription status from our payment provider, documents and document metadata you upload, and service activity such as document views, downloads, device/browser data, referrers, and IP addresses used for security and analytics.

How we use information

We use this information to operate and secure PDFHost, host and deliver documents, provide account support, process subscriptions, measure document analytics, prevent abuse, and improve the service.

Connected AI integrations

When you connect PDFHost to an AI integration, PDFHost issues a scoped token for your account. The current integration can search your documents, retrieve document details and embed code, and retrieve aggregate analytics. It cannot upload, modify, or delete documents. The connected integration receives only the information required by the tool you invoke. You can disconnect the integration at any time; access tokens expire and are revoked when no longer valid.

Service providers and retention

We use service providers for infrastructure, email delivery, authentication, and payment processing. We retain account and document information while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards when needed for legal, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. Analytics and security logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed to operate and protect the service.
